Creamy Rice Pudding
3 cups scalded milk
1 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 cups cooked rice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 tsp. mace
2 eggs, slightly beaten

Mix milk and next 6 ingredients; sloowly stir into the eggs. Turn into a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Set in a pan half-full of hot water. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour, stirring 1 or 2 times during first 30 minutes. Knife inserted near edge comes out clean when pudding is done. Makes 6 servings.
