Baked Potato Soup
Bake 8 potatoes. Let cool and scoop out all the way to skins. (Can cut up skins and include in soup.) Blend in 16 oz. sour cream, 1 stick butter, some chopped onion, crumbled bacon, 1 pint whipping cream, garlic salt to taste, pepper, parsley and milk to suit your own consistency. Cook at low temperature to blend flavors.

Sounds good, my mom always just chopped potatoes up, boiled them and then when done added milk & butter. Ive never tried using sour cream or whipping cream, will have to try this recipe the next time I feel the hunger for some good ole potato soup.
