May 17, 2003 - Old Auxvasse Cemetery.
From left: Don Ernst, Commander, Elijah Gates Camp 570, SCV; Jubal Early UDC members, Maxene, Linda N., Hazel Davis. Noel Crowson, Chaplain, Mark Douglas, Historian, members of Elija Gates Camp.

Jubal Early members flew to Callaway County, Missouri for the marker dedication of Pvt. Elijah P. Blankenship, Co. E, 57th Va. Inf. He was originally from Franklin County and soil from his family's graves in Franklin County was sprinkled over his grave in Missouri.
